Desperate Attempt at Procrastination

I should technically be doing about a million other things besides blogging, tackling the mountain of homework that seems to never fade being only one of those million things. However, I had a cup of coffee about an hour and a half ago and my energy level is currently too high to stay focused on something important, so this is where I shall devote my time for the next little while until I have to go kill over in the horribly long and horribly painful two hour jazz class.

Something that inspired me today: hearing a little boy play a piece on the violin that was made to be played by much older and much more experienced musicians, yet pulling it off with amazing skill and passion that made me want to love every little thing in life. He showed true love of what he does. Amazing!

Something that made me laugh: my friend whom I made a ridiculous bet with to see who could withstand the longest getting on each other's nerves. No rules have yet to be made, other than blatantly ignoring each other. The loser of this bet has to buy the other a coffee drink of their choice.

Something that I missed today: the warm weather we had last week!!

Something random: I dance approximately 6 hours a day...at least.

Something I'm craving: a warm weekend of shorts and halter tops and a good book by the lake.

Something I'm listening to: People Get Ready by Eva Cassidy

Something that gave me hope over the weekend: "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18
